Why I Became a Finance Coach

“I can no longer bear the pain, and I just want to die.”

That’s what my mum said to me on the phone 20 years ago. Her back pain had become unbearable. The doctors in Lithuania had no real options left – just morphine.

Private healthcare? Impossible. She couldn’t afford it. And I was in London, working tirelessly to build a better life for us.The helplessness and rage I felt in that moment lit a fire in me that’s never gone out.

My mum had worked since she was 16. Long shifts. Heavy lifting. Years of running her own business. She was smart, capable, and always busy – like so many people I work with.But by her 50s, she had no health insurance, no savings, and no safety net.

Because no one ever taught her how to build wealth. Only how to work hard.That phone call changed everything for me. I went on to build a different life.I became financially free by 40. Just in 12 years.

I started my accountancy practice at 28 and sold it at 40. Along the way, I gained two UK accountancy qualifications, became a master NLP practitioner, coach, and hypnotherapist.

Many clients in my accounting practice reminded me of my mother. Women and men who were working incredibly hard – earning well on the surface, but feeling constantly behind.No clarity. No safety net. No freedom.

Because they were not interested in their numbers. Because they kept repeating that they were bad with numbers. Because they never even considered that it is a skill. That anyone can master.

That’s when I knew accounting wasn’t enough. I didn’t want just to crunch the numbers, I tried to teach people how to own them. So I became a finance coach.Bringing together practical knowledge, real-life experience, and deep coaching work to help my clients transform their relationship with money.
