Why I Believe Financial Clarity Changes Everything

That’s what my mum said to me on the phone 25 years ago.
Her back pain had become unbearable. The doctors in Lithuania had no real options left – just morphine.

Private healthcare? Impossible. She couldn’t afford it.
And I was in London, working tirelessly to build a better life for us.

The helplessness and rage I felt in that moment lit a fire in me that’s never gone out.

My mum had worked since she was 16.
Long shifts. Heavy lifting. Years of running her own business.
She was smart, capable, and always busy – like so many people I work with today.

By her 50s she had worked her whole life but had no savings and no safety net.

Because no one ever taught her how to build wealth.
She only knew how to work hard.

That moment stayed with me.
And it shaped the work I do today.
Because I believe business owners deserve more than just working hard.

At 28 I started my accountancy practice in London. By 40 I had sold it - financially free.

Along the way, I gained two UK accountancy qualifications and later became a master NLP practitioner, coach, and hypnotherapist.

Many clients in my accounting practice reminded me of my mother.
Many of my clients were successful on paper.
Revenue was strong.

But their numbers were still a black box.
And I knew this pattern well - because I had built my own business the opposite way.

The difference was simple.
I stayed deeply connected to my numbers.

No clarity. No safety net. No freedom.

Not because they weren’t capable.

Because no one had ever taught them how to use numbers as a leadership tool.
Because they kept repeating to themselves that they were bad with numbers.
Because they never even considered that Financial literacy is a skill. That anyone can master.

I realised accounting alone wasn’t enough.
Business owners didn’t need more reports.
They needed to understand how to use their numbers to lead their business.
So I became a finance mentor and coach.

Bringing together practical knowledge, real-life experience, and deep coaching work to help my clients transform their relationship with money.

Forever.

I’ve been walking this path for 25 years – healing my own money story, unlearning scarcity, and helping others do the same.

I was able to semi-retire at 40 for one reason only: I was deeply connected to my numbers. I didn’t just track them - I understood them, reviewed them weekly, monthly, and yearly, and let them guide my decisions toward freedom rather than more work.
